History of Bax Mortgage

Bax Mortgage was founded in 1993 by Reuben Bax, who set out to build an independent mortgage brokerage dedicated to offering clients a wide range of financing options beyond what traditional banks could provide. His prior experience working with the banks and trust companies taught him that clients need tailored mortgage solutions. His mission was simple: to put the client first and deliver customized mortgage solutions with integrity, independence, and personal service.

Over the years, Bax Mortgage became known for its client-focused, small business approach—built on trust, transparency, and a deep understanding of the mortgage industry. In 2015, Reuben’s daughter, Samantha Bax, joined the team, working closely with her father to learn the business from the inside out. With a natural aptitude for the industry and a passion for helping others, Samantha embraced the company’s core values while bringing fresh energy and a modern perspective.

In 2024, Samantha and her partner Jesse Bielak officially acquired Bax Mortgage, marking a new chapter in the company’s history. Together, they continue to honor the legacy built by Reuben, while driving the business forward with innovation, adaptability, and a deep commitment to customer service.

While still proudly operating as a small, independent brokerage, Bax Mortgage has evolved and adapted to the ever-changing mortgage industry. Today, the brokerage continues to specialize in private mortgage financing, serving clients with unconventional income streams—including self-employed individuals and those who may not qualify for a traditional bank mortgage.

More than three decades later, the heart of Bax Mortgage remains unchanged: putting clients first, offering personalized service, and finding the right financing to fit each borrower’s unique needs.
